Taking On The World Within

There’s this fluttering I feel inside me.
But the city I live in my head,
Doesn’t seem to be able to escape into ink and paper,
I never seem to be able to let the words flow from within.
Is it fear? Worry? I know not.
But this year. I’m hoping to see a change.
I’ve got a story to tell.
And nothing is going to stop me. Not even myself.
I’ve got my wits and my dreams.
I’m going to take on the world!
